Ebony, which came about as the black version of Life magazine, is irritatingly anti-white. Always has been.

I guess you have no problem with William F. Buckley commenting on the inferiority of the Negro race.. All great, huh?

I guess you ought to supply a reference on that claim.

I respect Bill Buckley, but he did, regrettably, suck up to blacks in his later years. As for the "greatness" of the black race, take a look around and show me a single violent flash mob that's white. No thanks. I'll unapologetically stick with whites.

As for Ebony and its sister publication, Jet -- yes, they're anti-white, albeit in a genteel sort of way. Go read them.

Sure thing..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_F._Buckley,_Jr.
In the August 24, 1957 issue, Buckley's editorial "Why the South Must Prevail" spoke out explicitly in favor of white supremacy in the South.[48] It argued that "the central question that emerges... is whether the White community in the South is entitled to take such measures as are necessary to prevail, politically and culturally, in areas where it does not predominate numerically? The sobering answer is Yes – the White community is so entitled because, for the time being, it is the advanced race."

Ok, I get it. You should have just lead with that instead of pretending you weren't a bigot.

Dear Ebony,

I do not have high hopes, given the way Ebony treats black non-liberals, that you will review my new book, "Dear Father, Dear Son: Two Lives, Eight Hours." It is, in the end, about the importance of fathers -- and the damage done to a child who grows up without one.

Why do I know you will ignore my book despite its examination of the most important issue facing "black America"? Your magazine treats black conservatives as if they were the enemy, that they bring nothing valid to the discussion.

Ebony magazine, a monthly staple of American black life...
