All politics are local and it's hard to be a voice against the machine. I have repeatedly told the fund raisers in my state to not call anymore. I did not desert the party, the party deserted me and any fund I could muster would go to any organization that supports our Constitution. Others need not apply..

It still amuses me that people say their party did or didn't do this or that. Neither party has done what they were elected to do. We have a deficit and have had for years and years, I think maybe since 1939. Where are all the honest politicians? Why aren't we hearing from someone about what is being done and has been? Wise up.

The dysfunction in the national GOP was on display in Colorado over the weekend; and oh, boy, what a mess.

If conservatives ever win an election again in Colorado it will be only by mistake. 

Incumbent chair, Ryan Call, was re-elected 272 votes to 158 over a well-known challenger who had previously served as chairman in one of the metro counties.

I know both men and took no part in the fight.
