I carry concealed for self defence. I carry enough cash to be a target in my line of work. I practice weekly with my AR-15 for protection from my Govt. That was the intention of the founders when they added the 2nd Amendment . I stockpile and reload my own ammo. I also make sure I have lots of water and the ability purify the creek water when the shtf.

You sound like you're not planning to travel after the shtf. Good Idea. Ammo & Water are heavy.

On the Other Hand, If someone is in your hood who doesn't belong there, they are probably light on ammo and very thirsty. Both net pluses for you.

Observe which one is doing the most pointing and shoot him in the head. That will take the spring out of the step of his thirsty confederates.

BTW Be sure to collect and guns & ammo he does have, as well as his ID. When there is a break in the action, tie his led to your bumper and drag him several blocks down the street. Flies and Maggots just ruin the atmosphere.

Sound Advice from a Katrina Veteran.

You have to go through a metal detector guarded by men with guns to get into the Capitol building. Barack Obama has hundreds of Secret Service agents carrying fully automatic weapons who protect his safety. Even run-of-the-mill Democrats who want to take guns away from everyone else will unhesitatingly pick up the phone and call the police if they feel threatened -- so that a man...
