The immigration plan proposed by Boehner was fine in most regards, but the pathway to citizenship was not. If an illegal immigrant is allowed to stay and work, and wants to become a citizen, they should be required to apply through normal channels, but go to the back of the line. There must be no reward for illegally entering the country beyond the right to stay here and work, which is more generous than most other countries would offer. Boehner was absolutely correct in thinking that Obama would not enforce the law, and that is a perfectly good reason to do nothing while Obama is Dear Leader.
The title of the book kind of warns the reader what to expect. Brook/Cole Empowerment Series: Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare: Critical Thinking Perspectives. I would never advocate for a book-burning-rampage to purge society of corrupting influence. That has been done many times in the past, usually by fanatics and mass murderers. However, I feel there should be a different standard for required reading at any university. At a minimum, all claims made in a text book that are opinion should be specified at such, and anything purported to be fact-based should be referenced and verified. That's really not too much to ask of the author of a scholarly work. For example, the claim that Reagan did not appoint many women should be accompanied by a table or chart showing how many he appointed vs. his peers. If instead it is stated as "in the authors opinion, Reagan appointed few women", then it is left to the reader to verify it. I don't trust the Professors to point out that maybe the text books aren't being truthful.
WOW. Bill makes no sense. He is the idiot he abhors.
O'Reilly knows alot that isn't so. He has become so enamored of himself that he thinks he knows everything. Maybe he is getting too old, or perhaps his staff is failing him. I'll bet working for him is hell. Unless he stops bloviating about things he knows nothing about, he will lose any remaining credibility.
