Exposing the Essence of the Left/Right Divide
Me- that's a dubious claim. Frankly, I don't think ANY conflict fought in the last 100 years can be said to have "saved the world", except perhaps WWII, where others did most of the heavy lifting, not us. (For instance, the USSR suffered 20 million fatalities defeating the Axis, as opposed to our mere 400,000.
As far as what brought "higher living standards", the fact is most of Earth's 7 billion humans live in abject poverty still...
