You can't win the argumetn that way. Not in this case. The Dems are using the GOP's unwillingness to look at raising taxes to hide from the question of spending cuts. I say, give the Dems a tax increase. Take that out of the discussion and force them to look at spending cuts. Now this doesn't mean you pass the tax increase yet, but you agree to it to get the Dems to move past it.
