The GOP _LOST_ last week and lost big and the data is showing that one of the reasons was that the voters saw the Dems as being more 'caring'. Think about it a little and it makes sense. Most of the message from conservatives amounts to 'the gov't can't do this'. The Dems message is that the gov't can do something. They may be wrong, but I'm sure there are plenty of votes who prefer to vote for people who say they can do something to fix their problems.
