You are right, we didn't witness creation, so we don't know how it was done or when it happened. What we do know is that God did it. We know the "who", we're debating the "how".

Did I say the miracles of the OT and NT did not happen? No.

What I pointed out was, that Psalm 19 says that the universe declares that it is a created thing. (My paraphrase) A not unreasonable conclusion to draw is that studying the universe and all its splendors will show that to be the case. Therefore, does it make sense that the universe would show age when there is none? No. Now, I am perfectly willing to accept that our science is imperfect and that we will find that the apparent evidence of age has been mis-interpreted.

One of the Bible's great statements about courage comes in chapter 5 of Esther. The Jewish queen of Persia has told Uncle Mordecai that she can't go before the king: If she does, she'll probably die.

Mordecai responds with admonition—you won't escape by hiding—and then a line that has sent chills down my spine: "Who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
