No, the issue that started all of this is that Catholics and other church officials told the government to stop ordering them to have contraception available at church-run medical facilities. Telling a Catholic school (which is why Fluke STATED she enrolled at that school -- to purposely take an activist stand about it) that they HAVE to offer students contraception is about the same as forcing Muslims to attend luaus and eat pork. In short, the government was losing on the church/state thing, so they trotted out ol' Sandra to claim that the GOP was waging a "War On Women." Next up: A GOP War On Students because Republicans don't think we need to pay Fluke's student loan for her.

I'm sorry, but I grew up on a sheep and cattle ranch, we butchered our own animals and we didn't intentionally add cartilage and connective tissues to the meat. When I was a kid, they used to call this stuff "beef by-products" and put it in pet food. If the author thinks it's "liberal" to object to eating ground-up and chemically treated tendons and assorted offal remaining after the animal is butchered, he's welcome to his demented opinion.
