Its also hard to hold adults to a high standard when they rely on main stream media for their information. I include so called conservative talk shows, and FOX in that lump.

I agree. Every day I see and hear perpetuating so-called "facts" that are completely wrong. Lie the "GE paid no taxes" nonsense. For the record, GE had no tax liability because they *lost* money in a previous year and were carrying forward those losses to offset present income. It's standard accounting available to all, but people see nothing but the headline or the sound bite and think they know it all. I don't agree with Immelt's support of O but GE did nothing wrong. People should be happy they were able to minimize their tax expense, since every penny spent on taxes is a penny unavailable for hiring. But try to tell the liberal media blowhards that truth and you get the usual "blah blah greed blah blah 1% blah blah evil rich blah..."

So which ones are conservative?

The mainstream media, Barack Obama, and Democrats either think people are stupid or fools. Has to be one or the other the way they talk to folks and the whoppers they tell.

Let’s begin with the AP this week whose headline; “Faith In The Economy Holds Steady”. Makes sense because faith is belief without evidence. The reason for such faith? Consumer confidence ‘only’ fell to 69.2.

Doesn’t faith in the economy imply a positive outlook? What on earth is positive about a failing grade? The AP must think we’re all idiots.

Going beyond the headlines we learn...
