I may only be a junior, or "Field Grade" officer, but I know that such an order from the Commander in Chief would be exactly the same as if he ordered us to "Stand Down" while a foreign army was invading our country, illegal, not to mention blatantly treasonous.
We would be derelict in our duty and our oath to the Constitution to obey such an order.
