Japan certainly embraces "diversity" - in some cases as much as .01 standard deviations from their cultural norm. It actually worked pretty well for them until some leftist idiots decided to worship Keynes, no matter what the cost to their economy. Otherwise it has worked great. Non-diversity built the second strongest economy in the world (since overtaken by another very non-diverse culture, China), with a fairly small number of incredibly non-diverse people and essentially no natural resources. Non-diverse Japan took over the worldwide automobile industry from the increasingly diverse Americans. They don't allow ANY inferior races to immigrate there. If only they would stop tolerating liberals they could own the world.

I saw a "reduced to absurdity" (although that was not the intent of the perpetrator) example of diversity in a public school. The teacher had made a banner of words that started with the letters of "diversity" - it was a laundry list of things that you could not discriminate against in order to achieve true diversity. One of the words for "I" was "Incompetence", something you could NOT, under any circumstance, discriminate against. How delightful - let's make sure we get a fair share of totally incompetent people in our organizations. I know - let's elect a TOTALLY incompetent idiot at random as PRESIDENT - that will achieve TOTAL diversity. Totally, dude.
