I assume you mean you had NO reason to know much about him. If that was you meant, there really is no contractually binding requirement to worship Jobs if you buy any Apple products. It may seem that way given the number of (greatly) insane sycophant Jobs worshipers there are out there, but you don't actually have to sign your soul or integrity away when you buy any of his intellectual excreta. Anyone that does buy his products does perform a useful service by informing everyone else that they have no integrity, are never to be trusted, are probably dishonest, almost certainly liberal and don't understand anything about technology.

Yes, this is necessary. There is far to much glamorizing of this a**hole. Jobs was a crude and immoral man. Almost everything he "invented" was stolen. He stole the GUI and the mouse from Xerox PARC, who had to threaten to sue him over it when HE tried to sue MS for "copying" his stolen property (he immediately dropped the MS suit). He stole the iPod design from Creative (in Singapore). He had to pay them $240M in settlements. His technology was the pits - all form and no substance. Only a liberal could love him. To paraphrase an old horror movie, "He belongs dead!"

If we take ALL politicians out back and blow out their brains with a .44, it will cause temporary chaos. Just like with the Laffer Curve, there is some optimal percentage of all politicians to take out back and blow out their brains with a .44. I'm guessing 90%, but a case could be made for a much lower figure - possibly even as low as 80%. I think any rational person would agree that you need to include all Democrats and RINOs in the "blow out their brains with a .44" group. Certainly members of the Democratic Socialists of America!
