He has finally done it. Mayor Michael Bloomberg has finally conquered all the ills that have plagued New York City. At least, that’s the only reasonable explanation for his latest initiative. Bloomberg has already managed to snuff out cigarettes on both private and public property; he successfully outlawed any cup larger than 16 ounces; and he has even managed to put Styrofoam in the cross hairs of New York City health regulators by announcing that “our planet is too important” to allow you the convenience of a handy, yet disposable, to-go cup.
So, it’s pretty obvious the only thing...

1. If Bloomsberg is serious about helping people have him deal with the major civil rights issue of EDUCATION. Why are there so many who are ignorant? Have him come out in support of charter schools, whatever.
2. At no place in this article did anyone suggest allowing minors to smoke
3. Even IF Bloomsberg manages to cut down on trash etc. Do you seriously think it's going to impact the state, society whatever as a whole? The answer is No. People all over the country are watching what Bloomsberg is doing and think he's a nut case.
4. Bloomsberg is just an example of why those of us upstate would like to form a separate state and let you libs drown on your own down there.
