"Who can beat Hillary? NO ONE CAN!" I'm sure you felt the same way in 2006.
"Anyone want to wager on how much of a "more of the same" mood America will be in come 2016?" I hope you are correct about that, Jonah, but the glitch in that forecast is that in today's politics, as opposed to past decades, Plans A, B, C, D and E for Democrats is to try to convince minorities and single women that Republicans hate them. Many of these people don't know the difference between the national deficit and the national anthem. They only know that the mainstream media tells them that mean old whitey hates them and wants to keep them down. Sadly, that's all they "need" to know. If enough of these people buy the lies and propaganda, and happen to find their way into a voting booth, general elections in 2016 and beyond look discouraging for Republicans. It's a very sad forecast, and it's spelling the doom of this once great republic.

White People Be Playing the Race Card

The definition of racism is the belief that one races or races is intrinsically superior to another race or races. I don't consider myself a "hyphenated American" (hyphen, ironically, not grammatically necessary), but how does it makes someone racist if they do? It might mean they are less patriotic, but racist? I don't follow your logic.

Jon Stewart Abandons 'Sanity'

"Mops the floor"? That's absurd. Stewart couldn't engage in an intelligent, mature discussion if his life depended on it. He's an intellectual lightweight, unable to think about any issue more than one level deep. He's the kid in the back of the class shooting spitballs at the back of the heads of the smart students in the front. And the left hails him as a comedic genius for doing so.
I reluctantly agree with both of you. How many American soldiers would have to die in order to rescue these girls? And rescuing ALL of them is out of the question. Not only have they been separated to different locations, but Boko Haram would undoubtedly begin executing them at the first hint of an military rescue attempt.
Unfortunately there are many people in our society who believe they can claim the moral high ground by proclaiming there is no such thing as a moral high ground. They are called liberals. They vote for people because of bumper stickers, campaign posters and speeches. They are stupid.

Today's College Motto: Shut Up Already

These students may go to "prestigious" schools, but they are still incredibly young and ignorant. If they are old enough to remember 9/11, they remember it for interrupting their cartoons while they held juice boxes and ate Goldfish. Many of them still have healthy doses of Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber on their I-pod playlists. In other words, their opinions and worldviews are meaningless. It's a shame so many people take them so seriously.
"A push to restrict pornography can play into the hands of those who hate Christian truth-telling." Um, it can also play into the hands of those who take the 1st Amendment seriously, Marv.

Sterling knew read and signed the NBA charter when he bought the team. Donald Sterling as an unalienable right to say what he said. He does not have an unalienable right to own an NBA franchise. He is legally allowed to shout from the rooftops the same things he said in the recording. That has nothing to do with the privilege of being the owner of an NBA franchise. I'm as conservative as any commenter on this site. But some of you guys are are barking up the wrong tree, wasting time defending Donald Sterling on 1st Amendment grounds. The 1st Amendment has nothing to do with this.
