Which is why Republicans are so supportive of tort reform which would leave the consumer with virtually no protections, from Pharma using the population as a bunch of expendable guinea pigs. It also highlights the fact that private investment in pharma is purely profit driven, whereas government funded research has a focus on health care over profits.
“Certain forms of ammunition have no legitimate sporting, recreational, or self-defense use and thus should be prohibited.” --Ronald Reagan, in an August 28, 1986 signing statement on a bill that banned the production and importation of armor-piercing bullets.
“This is a matter of vital importance to the public safety ... While we recognize that assault-weapon legislation will not stop all assault-weapon crime, statistics prove that we can dry up the supply of these guns, making them less accessible to criminals.” --Ronald Reagan, in a May 3, 1994 letter to the U.S. House of Representatives, which was also signed by Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford.
Time to run for office Ms Kelly so you can sort it all out. I'll be waiting to see your name on the ballot.
Might just have to report you to the FBI Ms Kelly.

Give me a few examples of some of these thousands of failures you speak of. What is unconnected about the success of the biotech industry in Australia, unconnected with what. Australia’s comparative advantage comes from its world-class science and medical research, its capacity for international partnerships, cost effectiveness, and a transparent and effective regulatory system. More recently the Federal Government has introduced a research and development tax incentive, which is attracting global investor attention.

What is the basis for your argument that Obamacare will stifle pharmaceutical development of cost effective drugs. Ransom tried to make one but failed miserably. Marie you wouldn't know a commie if you tripped over one.
