Having been married to only one woman for 43 years gives me limited experience in talking about intimate relations and/or legal agreements between homosexuals. Some Homo sapiens even prefer relations with other species and it does not negatively affect my freedom unless it happens out in the open where my loved ones can be exposed. The biology of the way DNA changes in the production of each individual is a fascinating process and someday it will be fully understood. Research is ongoing and soon this whole problem will be avoidable. Parents will be able to correct the problem early and homosexuality will be fixable. The confusion and pain is devastating in many cases and it is not helpful in the promulgation of our species.

The current conundrum regarding the legalization of same-sex marriage is what happens when church and state are mixed -- the topics become confusing and confused.

When I married my husband almost 15 years ago, I did so out of love and out of a desire to witness before God my commitment to him and his to me. The legal and tax ramifications did not enter into my head.
