Nothing inspires goodness like a Mother's Love. You reflect that goodness in your writing. Your Mom was a great success. Thank her for us.

The truth is that radical Muslim extremists believe that "the end justifies means." History is clear that freedom is not compatible with socialism, communism, fascism or whatever ism you want to point to. Pres. Obama can't say the words Muslim Extremists so it is unlikely he will be effective in safeguarding Democracy and Freedom. Our current President is putting our way of life in danger and we are seeing the results.

Very profound, "faith in people rather than faith in governments or institutions won out." Our leader is a socialist who inspires dependency on government and is bent on pursuing his community organizer paradigm. Pray that our country awakens soon before it is too late. Historians will one day write about the demise of America and you and your Dad will write the obituary in The Rise and Fall of America. Reagan and Thatcher will be remembered as inspiring Leaders for freedom. God Bless their Souls!!

Nanny will take care of us and Nanny will make sure we have as little skin in the game as possible. After all we are incapable of self-reliance and overcoming adversity. Nanny will meet our needs and keep us dependent.

Great points, Jackie. The president is a master at Demagoguery and never allows facts to interfere with his power plays. Sickening that so many low information citizens are clueless as our great country is manipulated and abused. His "balanced approach" is radical.
You are absolutely right about Rove and American Crossroads. In Iowa he already is working against Steve King, a truly courageous conservative. King should replace Liberal Democrat Tom Harkin who is finally stepping down as Iowa Senator, but brilliant Rove opposes him.
Thank you for putting your finger on the problem. Your Dad was obviously the most qualified candidate, but the media and Rove drove the voters away from him. He was never given fair coverage although Hannity and Greta to be fair tried. Limbaugh new Newt was true Reagan type candidate, but even he whimped out. The Iowa caucus was a dysfunctional mess which was a shame, but the most effective leader was passed over for a empty chair. The real debate would have been your Dad against Obama. We would have been able to see that the Emperor has no clothes. The Democrats and our own so called brilliant minds like Rove picked Romney the original author of Obamacare, meanwhile your Dad works harder and harder to save our culture. Romney disappears.

" retaining the lessons learned from the experience." You nailed it again;-) Every experience in life is a lesson learned. Even the most dreadful of experiences become beneficial with the proper attitude and God in your heart. Conservatives instinctively know this while liberals bank on hitting the lottery or living on the redistributed wealth of other people's hard work and money.
Revisionists are hard at work. Where are our educators? Thank God for Newt and his daughter Jackie for documenting the true history of America. Callista is writing children's history books, too. They deserve the Nobel Prize. Our Freedom under Obama is going fast.
