The discussion concerning this issue can be ended with a solitary question; "If you had all the power of the Superintendent, School Board & Principal, what would you do to make your child safer at the school they attend?" All parents will come to a very similar conclusion where subtle compromises will bring about a consensus all parents will appreciate. Everything else is political noise.

I would make your school a 'gun free zone'. That way the Libnutz will go to your school and leave mine alone.
