I would tend to be a little concerned if I were the recipient of one of these ambassadorships. He will send you somewhere to represent "us". You may be on your own should you need to get back. Ask Chris Stevens

take this guys blog with a grain of progressive salt. Although true that the point is being missed in this whole affair. Did the President lie deliberately about Benghazi, fabricate the whole drama about the video just to not take a chance in telling the truth and losing the election. Yes other embassies have been attacked under different watches, none however were used to win (steal) an election
The implications and fall out stemming from Obamacare must surely have kept the president awake on many a night. His "landmark" defining moment and his path to an election win was unworkable as sold so the question to himself must have been "oh oh what do I do now?" Obama has heaped every provocation, waiver, opt-outs, delaying parts of it, while maintaining his steadfast position on its eventual implementation. Not a day goes by when some other negative aspect of the law doesn't comes to light. The unions, the IRS, they all want out. I THINK THE PRESIDENT WANTS OUT TOO. The President would love for this to go away. It served his purpose, got him elected then re-elected but now its just too much grief to have to deal with. How can he do a reversal on his "landmark" legislation? Let someone else kill it while he looks like he's fighting to the end to save it. Go ahead defund Obamacare, we could all use it to go away, AND the President needs some sleep. The national collective sigh of relief when Obamacare dies will be the most unifying thing that has happened In the USA in a long time, about 4.5 years.

Is This Still America?

Too many factions have too many rights. There is only one right, individual right, this precludes white, black, green, gay, straight, short, tall, skinny or fat. Imagine how you would feel being George Zimmerman today facing the onslaught of a prejudiced and short sighted government aiming both of its shot gun barrels directly at you. This mans rights are being violated all over the place. He is American and has the same rights as Trayvon had. If I were Zimmerman I wouldn't fault him if he wanted to trade places with Snowden and make his new home in Limbo Russia. Ironic that one would have to retreat to Russia to get protection of basic rights which are supposed to be protected by our government. Shame on Obama and Holder.
Maybe Candy Crowley can help clear it up for him
Watching Obama struggle to show concern while at the same time twisting himself to not say anything that may be taken as politically incorrect such as calling it terrorism was very revealing. I am sure his minions searched U-tube before the new conference in the hopes of finding some video to blame it on.

Capitalism Isn't Dying

Obviously you don't understand "pure" capitalism. Who would? We haven't seen the type of pure capitalism which marked the first 150 years of America's exceptional growth which was sufficient to make it a model for free people everywhere. Since that time we have had mainly a "mixed" economy. Some would say mixed-up. Government has tilted the playing field in favor of anyone who can afford to hire lobbyists to promote their own agenda. These are the parasites who feed on the parasites who feed on the free market system. Government's job is simply to protect my individual rights and to that end to protect our borders. It worked fine for the first 150 years since its inception, it would work fine now if government gets out of our way.

To Government, Every Penny Is Sacred

It would be nice to believe that these politicians and their minions actually accept bribes. I am sure some do. It is more likely a case that some petty bureaucrat under pressure from his superiors is being forced to make a decision and to stay with the party line. I bet a lot of these guys have given away billions in exchange for something as simple as a new fridge for the family.
I once had a similar problem as the government has now. I was under the impression once in my life that I had to be everything to everyone. I was in debt constantly borrowing more to throw it at the cost of the old debt, unable to start anything new to produce income and thereby helping myself. Keeping the status quo was all I thought about. Let me tell you that the sun does come up the following morning. Bankruptcy the unthinkable scenario in my mind forced me to make changes. Everyone worried about any vital service being impacted as a result of sequestration, Priorities will go to the front of the line. Things like the funding of shrimp on treadmills to test their endurance will fall to the wayside. It is a much needed reset.
