Unions, like the Democratic party has become boundless and useless. It's all about power and control, no longer about the welfare of the worker. To hell with those poor sods. Power and cronyism going hand in hand with both. And who's suffering? We, the People, worse than a few hundred years ago when some brave folks stood up and risked life and limb to end the tyranny. Team Obama is keeping pretty mum when it comes to commenting on the Chicago Teacher Union strike today that left 400,000 students without a classroom to learn in. National press secretary for the Obama campaign, Ben Labolt, dodged questions regarding the matter, essentially saying the strike situation shouldn't be turned into a political football on a national level.
