today a webitch, tomorrow a demonstration, next week somebroken gass, next month assaults and fires... these are the differences between us and 'them'.
Lets grant, for the sake of argument that those calling for CO2 reductions are scientifically correct. When you look at the data, specifically the flatlining of temperature increase over the last 17 years, the earth's temperature would be LOWER than it currently is. What will be the political response? To combat lowering temperatures we will have to either release more CO2 or generate more power to allow folks to heat their homes. Which will result in the release of more CO2. It's time to change the data to match the model outputs. Or look like fools. Or both.

The solution is fairly simple and can match the minority emphasis of our famous president. When on offence, the team will be the Whities; on defense, the (pick your favorite minority perjoritive) -ies.
As an engineer I find it truly amazing that a degree difference over ten years can generate ice fifteen feet thick or miles of open water.

Majority Rules on Climate Science?

The IPCC charter is to examine human effects on climate change. As we used to say in R&D, when you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Where to geologists (dirt), biologists (flowers), and politicians (fraud) come off pontificating on the products of physics expertise? Everyone's entitled to their opinions but the credible are the physicists and engineers.
