Hillary's moment of pre-planned indignation should have been met with an equally strong rebuke such as, "Mrs. Clinton. That is the ONLY thing that matters. We want to find out by name who gave the order to stand down. Who told our FEST teams NOT to go and allowed four Americans to die." Instead, they all tucked tail and moved on. I've never seen anything more disgraceful than letting her off the hook so completely. And she'll never come back again so another ship has sailed. The truth has buried along with four dead Americans.

By their dim lights, they couldn't have done anything else. A real investigation, one involving GEN Ham, ADM Gaouette, and the Benghazi survivors, would lead either to stonewalling, subpoenas, contempt citations, litigation, and a Constitutional crisis or to information so damning that the House would have to impeach Obama. Many legislators, staffers, diplomats, White House employees, senior officers, and others in government would be ruined along the way. There would be riots, and if Obama tried to use the armed forces to shore up his crumbling regime, there'd be a coup d'état. So a few politicians squawked long enough to get some sound bites, then went back to what they're good at: taxing, spending, and fondling interns.
