Coulter: Republicans Should Cave on Tax Hikes Because "We Lost the Election"

Man, most of you posters are very tiresome. 1) To Republicans and our author above: we won the House. That matters. Most people who elected Republican congressman elected them to oppose Obama. Nothing wrong with that - the Democrats spent 8 years mercilessly attacking George Bush, no one seemed to care. If the Democrats take over the House in the next election, then so be it. Abandoning principles never works. Krauthammer is correct - Obama barely won. 2) To everyone, but especially liberals: although Bush did spend too much, he is not the reason our economy is in the tank and we have a fiscal crisis. The crisis started with the New Deal in the 1930's and has just been building from there. Health insurance stupidity dates to wage

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
