The problem with your points is that by calling Mr. Diaz stupid, you also call Reinhardt stupid. I know the issue is emotional for you and you are likely not a legal expert but, what the author correctly points out is that Reinhardt seemed unwilling to go with your argument. He did NOT want to say that Prop. 8 violates the U.S. Constitution. Instead he kept looking for some other grounds to bind California only. That does not inspire much confidence in your argument.

Actually, no judge had done what this judge did in overturning a state constitutional amendment protecting marriage. This judge should be impeached.

I see your point but I believe the idea is that we are all created equal. It is not about all being the same. See the difference? God loves us all and celebrate our differences. But His word also states very clearly that "there is no partiality with God." (Romans 2:11)

This is great insight on the "projecting" what you want on his words. I think even liberals have been cought up in that, that's why some of them are rebelling against him now.
