Obama thinks of himself as Lincoln.IMHO the opposite applies. He is the great disuniter. As far as the Arabs go, he may well be the great uniter, putting all govts under the Muslim Brotherhood & Shariah. Who knows what his father's dream was. The father gave his middle name Hussein to both Barack and to the youngest step brother George Hussein Obama, born in 1982, the same year that Sr died at age 46 of his 3rd drunk driving accident. George, not knowing his father, says he chose Islam because he figured his father gave him that name for a reason. If Obama resembles Lawrence of Arabia, I haven't figured out what to call him. Barack? Hussein? Potus? of Arabia? No. Not the same ring.

In the Civil War, the North decisively defeated the South. In the Battle of the Bulge, the Allies prevailed, and the Axis never recovered.

These days, however, the fog of war shrouds not only conflicts that are underway, but even conflicts that have halted. And so there is now a debate about the outcome of what might be called November’s Battle of Gaza.
