let us not forget that democrats had control of the budget for two years before BO was elected and they presided over the turn around from reducing the deficit to increasing it and they have not stopped ever since they gained that power the tea party was supposed to stop it, but what happened when they gained control? if they could control the debt increase when GW Bush was president then why does the GOP and the tea party have to give up control now? they don't and should do what they promised voters and bring in a budget with tax cuts that will help the economy to grow, produce jobs and reduce the deficit
