we all know the history of AGW and how Margaret Thatcher tried to make coal fired power stations look dirty so they could bring in more of those "clean" nuclear power stations while people were worried about nuclear waste and weapons proliferation Al Gore just picked up the stories and research that were designed to give the results that MT wanted he may have known it was a hoax, as he was in the loop as part of the ruling class, but, being a good capitalist he could see a way to make a buck by setting up the collection system that would tax the world for its carbon use of course every scientist knows that carbon is part of a cycle and that we don't create or destroy a single atom of carbon in either combustion or photosynthesis

Nuclear power has a million times the energy per pound of Coal, or any other fossil fuel. It can be used safely in ships and subs. Coal fired plants are dirty. Ever been to one? Nuclear power plants are very very clean - ever been to one? Nuclear waste is actually fuel that can be burned in a breeder reactor, or elements that have value up to tens of thousands of dollars an ounce. In fact, we could actually replace our energy needs with safe clean Nuclear power. It is the safest industry ever created by humans. The "waste" is easier to deal with than any other type of fuel.

While the MET Office accused critics of cherry-picking a starting point and nitpicked about language-for example the Daily Mail reported that the “Met Office report [was] quietly released,” while the Met office whined they just...
