I think Professor Adams is missing something, As a result of these workshops, those majoring in Women's Studies will be able to use their degrees after graduation to teach others how to masturbate. If they're really good at it, maybe it will result in a better human gene pool. Maybe they will need a Master's in Masturbating first because we want those teaching our youth to be competent. I'm disappointed there is no mutual masturbation workshop.

Are you sure there won't be an agenda item for Mutual Masturbation. After all one can't attain a Masters of Masturbation without that and the simple non-mutual hand job.

Isn't a liberal arts degree mostly mental masturbation anyway? And aren't the people of NC givng a hand job to the university system?

Author’s Note: If you are concerned about this kind of spending in higher education, please contact Governor Pat McCrory at http://www.governor.state.nc.us/. His remarks about liberal arts education have been right on target. He gets it.

I think the time has come for a line item veto in higher education. The people of North Carolina are being bankrupted by higher education spending that is simply not academic in nature. The problem was once confined to UNC’s flagship campus in Chapel Hill. But now it has spread like a cancer throughout the entire UNC system.

For example, this week (February 4-8, 2013)...
