Great column, Mike. I have 3 daughters, two still in college. They have been told that I will not pay for any "studies" courses. If the people creating these things aren't smart enough to come up with a NAME, then how can the courses be worth anything. (By NAME, I mean that it's not Life Studies and Earth Studies, it's Biology and Geology).

How about a simple law that would guarantee vouchers nationwide? Prohibit teachers unions in any school district that does not have a voucher program. That should do it.
