Why the Liberal Hatred of Citizens With Guns

A liberal man is a man that never squared off with anyone in his life to defend or protect themselves or their families. That guy that always had a lawyer ready to defend him as he has become so feminized that he has become a squatter instead of a stander at the urinal of life!

And a conservative gun-nut is a man (term used loosely) trying to compensate for his inadequacies. I don't need a gun to defend myself becuase I have my wits. You ... well, you better carry a gun.

Andy Griffith: "When a man carries a gun all the time, the respect he thinks he's getting might really be fear. So I don't carry a gun because I don't want the people of Mayberry to fear a gun. I'd rather they respect me."

Really? Why do cops and soldiers carry guns? Who do you call when you have a crackhead trying to break into your house, the fire dept.? No, you call the guy with the gun. FYI, there are millions of CCW holders in the U.S., you've probably sat next to several of them and never knew it. We don't ask for respect or recognition, our goal is to protect ourselves and our families. I know this is a foreign concept to the left, but I don't call AAA when I need to change a flat tire either...

Of course it is always the better option to reason your way out of your problems.

But can you honestly say that a convicted sex offender who might have just broken into your house and is attempting to rape your wife, your sister, your daughter, can be reasoned with?

Unfortunately the world we live in is still one in which force is the final arbiter.

I live by the Libertarian ideal that force should never be initiated, but it is perfectly reasonable, and in fact sometimes necessary, to respond to force with equal force.

"A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity."-Sigmund Freud. It appears that both Andy and Ken are sufferers.

Your "wits" are not going to protect in the moment you must make an instant decision. Might I ask how you would defend yourself with your wits. So you maybe you have an alarm in your house. That is great but you know that still doesn't stop someone who is determined and the police will not respond fast enough to save your life at all. If someone wanted to do harm or break into your home, you my friend would be the easiest of targets. Almost all gun owners have plenty of wits about them. They are doctors, lawyers, teachers, scientists and guess what they own guns. Not to prove how tough they are but when needed they can defend the lives of the ones they love. True wits is being prepared not just being smart.

Oh by the way. Just because Andy Griffith didn't carry a gun, didn't mean he didn't own one or know how to use it. Evidently you didn't pay attention to the show because he was seen a lot during the show cleaning and taking care of guns in case he needed them.

You’re snug in your cabin in the mountains outside of Big Bear, California. Snug, but fearful. They’re searching for a killer near you. A terrifying, heavily armed former cop from Los Angeles who has gone on a killing rampage.

Suddenly you hear gunshots. You part the curtains to look outside ... and there’s the man whose picture you’ve seen countless times on TV over the past few days running toward your house as he returns fire to police officers in pursuit.

Just a few weeks ago you had been considering buying an AR-15 just in case it might be needed to...
