Cappy has to be a nerd who could never get picked even to play right field. He played with the girls and their dolls. Some people just don't get it. I have many, many memories of playing baseball, sandlot and organized. Back in the day kids learned sporets,manship playing baseball. That was before all the trash talking and disrepect came into play. If a player hit a homer he would start running not stand there and watch the flight of the ball. Back in the day doing some such would get you a fast ball up and in on the next at bat. Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, especially Bpb Gibson or Dizzy Dean, Juan Marichal and Nolan Ryan were a few you did not dare to show up.
