My solution would be to identify a Taliban area and bomb it to little bitty pieces of rock then tell Afghanistan there is more where that came from. Make it clear they can do as they like within their borders but training terrorist and allowing al Qaeda to export terrorism will cost them again and again. I would also destroy all the poppy crops and advise them we can do that over and over. Then I would bring all of our troops and diplomatic corps home and withdraw all funds to them.

Last night during the final presidential debate of 2012, President Obama said we have "fewer horses and bayonets" during an exchange with Governor Mitt Romney. The comments were condescending, belittling and Obama implied the use of bayonets and horses was obsolete. This is not the case.
