Getting a little tired of mouth-breathers and right-wing kool-aid drinkers lumping everyone from Chicago into one cesspool, so intelligently named "Shitcago"

The strict gun laws ar no more to blame or congratulate than the lax gun laws in Texas are to blame for their murder rates.

Although I'm on "your side" in these arguments, it's hard to find common ground when your teammates are constantly disrespecting everything and everyone associated with your geography.

Rahm and Barack are not the ONLY people from Chicago, jagbag.

Relax Mr defensive.

The voters of those states know who we reference when we post like that.

Chill out.

BTW,

Your gun laws are a direct result of your murder rate.
They are like taxcuts, they work every time.

If one were to look at the majority of our murders, one would quickly surmise that they occur almost entirely on the South Side of Chicago, where gang activity and drug trafficking abound.

Any other stereotyping bullshiite rhetoric you want to toss out?

Chill your own jets, spanky

I think the point is that strict gun laws did/do nothing to prevent it.

Surrounded by law enforcement officers, mayors, police chiefs, gun “safety” groups, Democratic legislators and a display of semi-automatic rifles and pistols, California Senator Dianne Feinstein introduced her new gun control legislation today on Capitol Hill.

“This is a tough battle,” Feinstein said in her opening remarks. “Some of us have been working to reduce gun violence for decades.”

The event kicked off with Rev. Gary Hall preaching about gun violence to the cameras, a mix of church and state liberals typically frown upon unless it serves a certain political purpose.
