To "efficiently" implement their socialist agenda, the left needs to know everything about us. That way, they can selectively break down any resistance on the part of citizens who cling to archaic notions of freedom and "reeducate" those people. Those proving to be too stubborn to surrender their freedom will simply be eliminated in the name of "progress," just like they were in Nazi Germany, the USSR, and Mao's China.
