LIVs and other parasites will never get it, but I believe most Americans will still respond positively to this message.
Thanks. We need to stay focused on getting that message out and stop trashing Republicans who occasionally take a position we don't like.
Hillary has to win the nomination, first, Remember 2008? She was the odds on favorite then, too.
"It is a game of political gamesmanship, of course. The House can refuse to pass a Continuing Resolution, and the media will immediately begin painting the Republicans in the House as starving babies and throwing granny off the cliff." Which is why the last time Republicans tried this was 1994 - 1995. A lot of cons don't get this, and they get very angry with Boehner et al for not "standing up" to the Dems. But the fact is, it's always a PR nightmare for the Republicans, because they're unable to do a good job explaining why reducing the deficit and shrinking the government is good for almost everyone, and you know the LSM isn't going to spread that message.
Without either a budget or a continuing resolution, spending does, in fact, "freeze."
I certainly don't think Hillary is inevitable.
What hole is he on? Ha! Ha! Ha! That's priceless. Here's why we reward failure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3X3M9ACYuk
Must be time for me to join the party and get mine.
