All true. They really don't want to do anything that might actually work, because without a good crisis, they can't control the message. As a simple example, how does banning large servings of soda address any real problem? Two smaller servings that equal the banned amount are still available, aren't they? Did you know that the banning of salt in some liberal bastions is causing an increase in thyroid disease, because the iodine that was added to salt for that very purpose, is now forbidden to those citizens? Yet another example of unintended consequences to an inane liberal regulation. I bet Will isn't allowed to read any publication that might educate him to consequences like this one.

Last night during another "Guns in America" session hosted by Piers Morgan on CNN, the anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment host admitted a ban on semi-automatic rifles won't solve the "gun crime" problem in the United States.

"Reality though isn't it that this will not solve the gun crime problem in America. It's not going to stop mass shootings. What it is it seems to me is an imminently sensible reaction to the horrors of what happened in Sandy Hook and indeed in Aurora and  the other seven mass shootings in 2012," Morgan said.
