So according to the pundits, a good investor will buy struggling compaines and ride them into the ground and in the end everyone looses their job and there is no money to start another business that may create more jobs. I guess we should just hire people who TALK about everything with no record at all. That thinking got us Obama, and if we are lucky we can have Newt next! He can certainly talk up a storm. No one is able to tell me what they are against in his current campaign. If he does what he says he will do as presidenet isn't that what we want? He follows through on his commitments.

I do not know what a smithian is, but the depth of your understanding of who goes to heaven is astounding. When Christ was asked how to inhertit eternal life did not mention a church. He instead told of the sincerity of the samaritan ( in case you don't know they were despised and not of the RIGHT church). Maybe sincerity is worth more than you think.

So If i hire (elect) someone do do something who was previosly hired to do something else, then they must be a hypocrite by your defintion. I want to hire someone who is CURRENTLY representing my views and has a record of being sucessful doing that . That is my point. How do mormons hide their horns? I have heard they have them. However, the ones I know do not apear to be that evil and seem quite sincere. What we need is more Saducees that REALLY know what is going on in peoples hearts!

All of this talk of his secret agenda and what he will REALLY do is quite facinating. From what I can see at each stage of his "flip flopping" he had been true to the commitments that he made when he started. I am glad to support a candidate with enough vision to follow through on what the people that he is leading want him to do. It looks to me like we should take him at his word on his presidential policies that he is articulating for the presidency as someone who will keep his word as he has in the past and follow through on the stated agenda. He does not have a record of promising one thing and delivering another. Your arguments are based on different situations than the one at hand. Maybe we just don't want a Mormon at all.
