Study the Politics and "small wars" from about 1890 to 1914 and you will find not much has changed in the last 100 years. Most of the world is still ruled by Autocrats, despots or privileged elites. I believe we are stumbling to a cataclysm.

Good article. I recommend 2 books about the origins of the Great War. Robert Massies' "Dreadnaught, Great Britain, Germany and the coming of the Great War" and Barbara Tuchman's "The Proud Tower, a Portrait of the World Before the War. What is happening in the world since 1990 can be compared to the world from 1890 to 1919. Very Scary. Excerpt from Massie's book. "At dusk that evening,Grey stood with a friend at his window in the Foreign Office, looking down at the lamps being lit in St. James Park. It was then that the unpoetic Sir Edward Grey uttered the line which memorably signaled the coming of the First World Was. "The lamps are going out all over Europe , we shall not see them lit again in our lifetime" The next day Germany declared war on France.
Kerry doesn't want to discriminate, everyone makes a fool of him.
We got mad when they invaded Georgia. We got really mad when then invaded the Crimea. We will get really really mad when they annex the Crimea. We will get so mad that we will spit when they invade Ukraine. I have seen Kerry's act before. You have seen it too, usually at check out lines in local grocery store."Mommy or Daddy" is going to get really mad if you don't behave.
What a surprise!! The first thing any politician is interested in when he gets to Washington is reelection. It is not only the first thing it is the only thing. They are removed and insulated from the real world and believe the only way to get reelected is to be popular with other politicians and the washington/new york media. They have no concern on the direction of the country. They all want to have their hands on the wheel when the Titanic sets out on her voyage.
$70,000,000,000 divided by 300,000,000 population = $23,000,000 per person. So lets save some money and only give each person $15,000,000. They get no more help, no more food stamps, no more welfare, no more gov't help of any kind. Next year the federal budget would be $70,000,000,000 lower (at least). Lets double that figure because of all the other programs that would be no longer needed, so $140,000,000,000 less. Wouldn't that be a good start in reducing our deficit? Plus since the Gov't is so concerned about equal pay for all, everyone gets $15,000,000. Now who can disagree with that!!
So if I want to break in a house and steal stuff, first I'll check the data base to see if the homeowner is a gun owner. If so I will move onto a neighbor. This data base helps non gun owners how?
Republicans or Democrats it doesn't matter. There is only one party "The Ruling Party". R's and D's are 2 siblings of the party. The government will never get smaller, more responsive or more ethical.

Obamacare and Government Failure

The BIG LIE in Dc is "Unintended Consequences". ObamaCare is not a failure it is accomplishing exactly what Obama wants. His presidency is not a failure he is doing exactly what he told the country he would do. Think of all the so called "Unintended Consequences" that have come about after all the laws and actions of the Governing Class over the last 50 years. Do you really think the Governing Class is that stupid? I don't. I believe the "Consequences" have been "Intended" and expected.
