Your moniker suits you. Where did you go to school?
McCarthy claimed that there were over 200 Communists in the State Department and he had a list with their names on it. He was a liar. If Hewitt and Cruz want to defend and utilize McCarthy's tactics they do not deserve the time of day.
"The senator believes today is a day to remember the extraordinary accomplishments and sacrifices of Dr. King, Congressman John Lewis and an entire generation of black leaders.” It doesn't seem that Tim Scott thought it was necessary that he should be asked.
It would seem that being black was not a requirement to speak and that Tim Scott's being black was not really enough of a qualification to get him on the podium. Should the fact that Republican's only have one black senator suggest that he must be allowed to speak? That doesn't really make sense. Townhall's suggestion that he should have been asked to speak speaks volumes.
This has to be the greatest evidence yet that Giles is delusional. Everything he spews is anti reason, fact free, and anti Christian. Jesus has more angels than we do? The clearing of the money changers means that we need to defend ourselves with guns? The people who kill with guns are fathers with daughters? 1. The company is not required to provide contraception. The employees themselves determine where the health insurance dollars go. The employer is only disallowed from determining insurance coverage based on religious belief. 2. No one is saying that Catholic institutions cannot hire and fire based on adherence to religious beliefs and practices. The issue here is that of employers who do not discriminate based on religious beliefs. Can a Catholic person, group, or organization decide for their non Catholic employees how the spend their money and utilize their employee benefits? I don't think so.
