Feinstein: Goal is to Dry Up the Supply Of Weapons Over Time

From a couple of articles I read this bill would still need 60 votes in the Senate to pass and also Harry Reid will allow major gun legislation to come to the floor for a vote on amendments which apparently means this bill would probably be amended so many times and so many ways that it would become watered down or completely shredded. I would be surprised if this bill gets more than 20-30 votes the way it is written. Everything about it is unconstitutional and violates Supreme Court rulings and federal laws. This would go no where in the House. It's just sickening that we have politicians in this country that is so willing to completely trample on the Constitution and take away our rights and freedoms.

It has no chance of passing. It's theater. And not even good theater.

Surrounded by law enforcement officers, mayors, police chiefs, gun “safety” groups, Democratic legislators and a display of semi-automatic rifles and pistols, California Senator Dianne Feinstein introduced her new gun control legislation today on Capitol Hill.

“This is a tough battle,” Feinstein said in her opening remarks. “Some of us have been working to reduce gun violence for decades.”

The event kicked off with Rev. Gary Hall preaching about gun violence to the cameras, a mix of church and state liberals typically frown upon unless it serves a certain political purpose.
