It really irks me that 2006-2008 were Bush's fault when Reid/Pelosi ran up debt while 2009-2012 were Republican generated problems. Will no one point out that Reid/Pelosi ran up more debt than any other politicians in the history of the world?

The WH just adjourned another meeting with union and progressive (socialist) leaders. The president was quoted as crowing that he has the Republicans right where he wants them. He purportedly said that he will destroy the Republican party in the coming fiscal debate by making public their effort to harm the country if they do not vote for his fair tax increases. He will not allow ANY spending cuts to enter into the compromise discussions. If the Republicans do not cave, the WH will allow all new taxes to go into effect in January and conduct campaigns across the country to hang the Nation's misery on the Republican Party's intransigence. He told the attendees that this is their golden opportunity to destroy the Republicans once and for all.

I have never seen this country so divided and the population so angry. I guess the last president to be so divisive was James Buchanan, so does that portend another civil war? Why are citizens so Angry with one another? Do we not all face the fiscal cliff together? The only answer that I can come up with is that our leader, Obama, does not like Americans. Can anyone suggest a better answer?
