GOP Turns Sure Victory into Defeat

Romney had a chance to lay out his plan at the Convention and blew it. All we got was a lot of self-congratulatory happy talk from him and his wife. And Paul Ryan offered zero details in his speech. This was the guy who was going to turn Medicare into a voucher program, saying they were going to "strengthen Medicare." Oh, really? How? So the Romney-Ryan ticket amounted to a great big question mark.

Ryans speech was good, a convention speech is not the time to start talking numbers and sound like a professor. The problem with Romney is he has a hard time talking about conservative ideas or when he does it shows that he does not believe it or understand it. Reagan believed his ideas and was able to speak about them and people trusted him. Mitt is a good businessman but he can't espouse Reagan conservatism and the people saw through that.

What welfare goodies did Obama promise, that got your vote.

So somehow you feel like the great big Obozo ticket showed what ? Nothing, Nothing, and more Nothing. No one has a clue about your favorite subject, Obozo, and never will. Just more downhill sliding, in the not so transparent administration. You can find all the time in the world to blame someone who has never done anything wrong, not like the never had a job Obozo. Talk about a person that has no, that NO, job record.
But you go right ahead and praise him all you want. Till he throws you and all of your leftest friends under the bus.

Welfare so he can still live in his or her parents basement

Wait until next year -- 2016, that is.

That’s what disappointed Republican spinners kept saying Tuesday night as they watched Mitt Romney’s hopes crash and burn in swing state after swing state.

How many times did I hear a Republican talk about how their party’s deep bench of future all-stars will return it to power in Washington in four years?

But all the Ryans, Rubios, Bushes, Haleys and Christies in America can’t put the GOP -- or the country -- back together again.

The GOP is a wreck -- and not just in California, where the party’s registration is now...
