Chavez will not attack Curacao. His main army is composed of 13 to 16 kids that come from the barrios, his election base. If one of them was even scratched in a war the mother's of these kids would drag Chavez into the street and hang him. He realizes that. The only purpose for his army is to murder and control the opposition who aren't allowed to have guns. And by the way, most times his army does not have the ammunition to fire their guns. This was not a tax increase. Rather, it is a requirement that the purchase of more than $600 of goods and services must be reported on form 1099. This requirement has been in place since at least the 1980s but now specifically includes sellers of gold. This provision will stop people from failing to report their profits which has cost the American taxpayer $17 billion per year in unpaid taxes. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me that everybody will now be required to report and pay what they always owed but failed to pay in the past.
