Why don't you book a trip to Minneapolis and tell former Minnesota Viking defensive tackle Esera Tuaolo to his face what you wrote here. I think we could then change your posting name to "puddle" since you will probably represent a wet spot on the sidewalk shortly thereafter.

Overreaching on Gay Marriage

Wonderful Steve, when you have no better argument than those presented by the defenders and their so called experts of Prop 8 which consisted at trial of standing in a corner and stomping their feet claiming that even though they had no data or proof for their "evidence" they were right. What a joke! No, the court is not going to approve polygamous marriage, marriage to a donkey or all the other silly arguments you like to put forward to hide the real facts and evidence. Banning same sex marriage is a violation of the 14th amendment as so clearly opined in Judge Walkers opinion so get over it.

Chavez and His Caribbean War

Chavez will not attack Curacao. His main army is composed of 13 to 16 kids that come from the barrios, his election base. If one of them was even scratched in a war the mother's of these kids would drag Chavez into the street and hang him. He realizes that. The only purpose for his army is to murder and control the opposition who aren't allowed to have guns. And by the way, most times his army does not have the ammunition to fire their guns. Chavez is too afraid that the military might overthrow him so he won't give them bullets.

This was not a tax increase. Rather, it is a requirement that the purchase of more than $600 of goods and services must be reported on form 1099. This requirement has been in place since at least the 1980s but now specifically includes sellers of gold. This provision will stop people from failing to report their profits which has cost the American taxpayer $17 billion per year in unpaid taxes. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me that everybody will now be required to report and pay what they always owed but failed to pay in the past.
Come on down all you gutless wonders sitting at your computer acting all macho, there are flights every day down here. Why don't you come down and punch Chavez? Oh, by the way, you can't bring a gun because you will immediately be arrested, put in jail and probably be killed within the first 24 hours. It only costs $100 U.S. to have somebody killed in jail. Also, Chavez is protected by Cubans because he doesn't even trust his own soldiers and as the Americans found out before the Cubans are fierce fighters and very loyal. Anne, the rigs are mostly on land in the Maracaibo region and if they were offshore they would still be in Venezuelan waters. This is not an international issue. And for the idiot that said P & H should...

OLDTEXGAL, your statement, "Obama has made a 2 BILLION dollar loan guarantee to the national oil company of Brazil (Petrobras)..... for deep water drilling... far deeper than that in the Gulf. Those are American Taxpayer dollars! Who is a major stake holder in Petrobras? George Soros! Coincidence? The loan guarantee came only days after Soros acquired the equity position. Important to "follow the money". is totally false. First, the board of directors that approved the loan at EX-IM (Export-Import Bank of America) were three Republicans and two Democrats, all appointed by George W. Bush (do you remember him?). Obama's first appointment occurred after the loan had already been approved. Second, the funds were earmarked to be used...

Mr. Sowell states: "People who think we shouldn't be allowed to make our own medical decisions, or decisions about which schools our children attend, certainly are not likely to be happy with the idea that we can make our own decisions about how to defend ourselves." Does Mr. Sowell now believe that government should not have it's hands on a woman's body or just a man's body?
