Yes, Rick is a bitter Iowa transplant that couldn't get a decent job in his home state, so he moved here. Got laid off in 2000 (most likely because he was posting on line all day instead of doing his job) while slick willie was still the dumbocrud figurehead. Alas, he still has to blame the GOP for his failures in life, a tactic that is so typical of liberats these days, it's never their fault!

WASHINGTON -- The White House had been working for months to talk Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan into running for President Obama's former Senate seat to keep it from falling into Republican hands.

Madigan is popular, has high voter-approval poll results, and was seen as the strongest Democrat who could hold the seat.
