Easter is mentioned only once in ALL of God's Word,( Acts 12:4,) and it is connected with what was (and is) a pagan practice. It was an observance practiced even before Christ Birth, so it truly as NO connection, nor part, in the LORD Jesus' resurrection, Christians,( that is, "FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST", Acts 11:25-27, ) should not engage in this pagan celebration and or observance. 1 John 2:14-16, "Love NOT the world, nor the things in the world,... for all that is in the world, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life is NOT of the Father, but is of the World".. just thought to share God's Truth regarding "Easter"

As I prepare to spend a week teaching the book of Jeremiah to Chinese pastors in Hong Kong, I’ve been reflecting on the strengths and weaknesses of the Church in America. Regrettably, the list of negatives is longer than the list of positives.

To be clear, though, I’m speaking of the circles in which I travel, meaning evangelical Christian circles, so my observations might not apply to other Christian groups in America.
