No it is about inventing another mindless populist "issue" to distract from their own failures.
A red herring (just like gay marriage, immigration, etc.) meant to distract from the abysmal failures the President and DNC own.
... and the net result will be loss of GOP votes. The Malthusians and gay mafia will still vote left and the GOP just chipped away at its own base while giving tacit approval to their opponent.

New Dem Strategy: Stop Running From Obamacare

Not that MSM will ever let the GOP have a voice, but should the GOP roll out a talking points on their plan to address healthcare concerns and hammer them at every turn? Perhaps conservative outlets should publicize the talking points as well as every GOP representative that manages to get any MSM coverage? Tort reform, cross state plans, etc. Not only trumpet the points, but present the data at the same time. Data doesn't seem to ever matter for the MSM or LCD voters, but eventually the message may resonate and it takes the "you don't have plan" defense off the table.

I appreciate the Doctor's attempt at even handedness, but when have GOP representatives behaved in such a lawless, aggressive, and punitive nature as we witness from the DNC? When the GOP tok both houses under Clinton they changed the rules to give the minority (the DNC at the time) more say. The first thing Reid/Pelosi did was to silence the opposition.... and we can go from there.
Didn't Bush get in trouble for trying to dismiss federal prosecutors for refusing to uphold the law as required by their position?

7 Reasons I'm A Conservative, Not A Liberal

Why cede the term "liberal" to statists? On the rest of the planet the group media identifies as conservatives is considered liberal. How liberating is it to subscribe to state power over the individual? The term was usurped by "progressive" magazines in the early 20th century.

It is not just the federal model that is the problem, many state models redistribute on a much larger scale via property taxes. I live in NJ (we're number one!... in property taxes) and it cost 2.5 times as much to "educate" a student in Camden as my district. Even worse the activist courts are more responsible for the redistribution that the legislature.

"Mr. Van Roekel says, “In far too many states, implementation has been completely botched.” This plan from the Obama administration was supposed to instill more rigorous language-arts and math instruction in public schools, but it appears this is another project that isn’t working out too well for them." , but I thought that the WH had nothing to do with Common Core. It was a private company roll out through the National Governors' Association... it was apololitical and the left was hands off
Yeah, I'm sure they never tried a covert op... in Pakistan. Which leader got rich? Maybe Clintonshouldn;t have stron armed Israel into releasing him in the first place. We knew aout this guy going back to the Reagan administration.
.... and how many are lieing by claiming they were always agains the war? Further, why do people think it was a mistake? The Obama adminstraition trashed any an all gains from both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
