As a Ron Paul supporter, I earnestly hope for a brokered convention. This country desperately needs a new direction & Paul promises, at least, that. The GOP has become a junk brand & the three clowns who are the frontrunners offer zilch in redeeming it. The GOP rinos will never get behind Paul but the American people will, once there's a clear delineation between Paul & Obama. It's time that the GOP gets off the dime & nominate Dr. Paul who will give this country exactly the right prescription for its many fatal ills.

The Empire is collapsing & the rich white guys are blaming the working class. Typical. WASP values built the Empire & sustained it throughout the last century. Culture is much more than just shouldering up institutions, though. It doesn't have much to do with the economy per se but it does have a lot to do with ridding itself of an economy whose expansion & conquest has become the sole end of its immoral & unjust means. Is the West ready yet to dump the monetary/"free" market value system that it has assiduously pursued with rapacious abandon since the Scottish Enlightenment? Yes, we're coming apart & our freedom is now at stake. Inverted totalitarianism (Wilden) or liberty? Ron Paul is the best way out of this cultural crusher.

PJB doesn't write books to please the demographics of sponsors & the MSM is all about pleasing their sponsors. His reputation is more than polished by their rejection of his ideas. Push even harder against their empire & the military/industrial, banking/congressional complex. Part of their problem is that they've never broken completely away from "mother" England or its Bank, which your book on Churchill's rush into WWII amply demonstrated. It's the British idea of their superiority & their "white man's burden of rule" that's had disastrous consequences for America since the time of T. R. & W. W. What the MSM can't stand about you is that you know history & they don't. Getting the MSM to fire you, is another feather in your cap!

By now, it should be clear to all that the Cold War has reemerged in spades. Russia & China, allies of Iran, will use Syria as their proxy in making the "cold" war hot, should we keep our imperial military engaged in the Middle East. Romney, Santorum or Newt certainly are no alternatives to O; in fact, they're much worse with their "all cards on the table" foreign policy. The only way that they can make dough is through the military/industrial, banking/congressional complex that keeps them rich & us poor. The Neocons have bankrupted the country & are stupidly leading us into a hot WWIII. I've had enough of their failed foreign policies & I'm voting for Ron Paul.

Only if O keeps printing money: the FED. Of course, Romney, Santorum & Newt will do the same. Only Ron Paul will stop the presses & save the economy for the people. The GOP & the Dems have taken us to the precipice & they'll soon be pushing us off.

Yes, Obama wants to pull out of the Middle East & head to the Pacific to get ready for war with China. Some diplomat, Pat. You're right about the GOP except for Ron Paul who will end the military/industrial, congressional/banking complex once & for all. Plus, he'll turn around our economy at the same time. Both the GOP & the Dems are at this point trashed. I'm casting my vote for Ron Paul. American patriots would be smart to do the same.

I realize that Doug is a nostalgic guy, but, come on, a "stronger military?" Why would Christ, the master Peacemaker possibly want that for his children? Doug longs for the Golden Age of Christendom, the Reformation era that wrestled down all the world power from the most enduring institution that the world has yet known, the Revolutionary era & perhaps even the Civil War. Patriots are demanding a real Christian leader, who's above any sectarianism or its concomitant corruptions. If Christ had wanted a theocracy he would have given some indication of it. Is Doug so nostalgic and/or arrogant that he thinks that his new Christian theocracy is going to do any better than its predecessor? Ron Paul is the ideal Christian leader for Doug.
