While I am usuually in agreement with Jonah Goldberg, I find this article off-base for two reasons: wrong and tired.

Tired, because what you have said about her need for education has already been said - many times. She's heard you all.

Wrong, because she is not whining, but defending herself when no one else will. Letterman: she called him a cowardly poltroon, and - rather than choose pistols or swords - he apologized. Good for her!

What other woman - political or otherwise - has taken the constant hits she has - and with little support. Little support from NOW, for example, and little support from her ex-running mate, the once admirably courageous John McCain.
