Sowell and Williams need to be on TV, not in conservative 'written word' forums. we need a few conservative 'Soros'' to buy up time on MTV and BET so that those they mean to help can hear the message.

Tebow was ridiculed, belittled, harrassed, etc...for being openly Christian. This they're proud of. Why do they have to "come out" and announce it to the world? Just don't hide it. Be who you are. There has to be fanfare? I don't understand. Must be my conservatism. By default, I am a racist, misogynistic, biggoted, homophobe...among other things that aren't true. Could you imagine Obama saying "I couldn't be prouder of Tim Tebow for being openly Christian?"

More than any other, the one thing that creates the most heated fury in the rhetoric of the left is the insertion from the opposition of truth and evidence.

Honestly, regardless of your affiliation, regardless of your beliefs, I will never understand the kind of derisiveness born of such prejudice. As a kind of Christian, one apart from the organized, searching for his own religious identity, I see most (not all) religious people as accepting of others beliefs...or lack thereof. I know that I haven't a care in the world who does and who does not 'believe'. To feel compelled to see the words of a religious man, calling for others who are inclilned, to pray for our country, and call it ridiculous belies a selfish bitterness that in my opinion is unwarranted. If the Dems are happy with it....it is BAD, BAD, BAD!!! Perhasp that's what we should do when we finally take over again (with true conservatives for a change). We come up with something, and we wave it in front of a group of liberal Dems. If they smile and wag their tails...we throw it out and start over. A sort of LIBmus test! : ) (for those who may not be aware, that's a play on the trem 'litmus test'...look it up..it will be funny I swear).

I hope that God would not allow it to happen. We are the last bastion of true and unadulterated freedom in the world. (at least, we're supposed to be) God help us all.
