Supporting and Defending the Constitution IS defending the Nation. And there is no "right" to serve in the military. The military DOES discriminate against lots of Americans, even those who serve. If you are too fat, too skinny, too tall, too short, mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, a convicted felon, you cannot serve. And no one was ever discharged for being homosexual - the were discharged for fraudulent enlistment; when they filled out the enlistment papers and answered NO to the "Are you homosexual" question, then were in fact found to be homosexual, they LIED on their enlistment papers and were dishonorably discharged. And if homosexuality was normal, they could reproduce and would not have to adopt children...

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." How, pray tell, is someone who got here by breaking our laws, thus subject to our laws? Inquiring minds want to know.

There was a reason that the Underground Railroad went all the way to Canada; because it was against the law in most Northern states for black people to live there.

Regarding the 13th Amendment; the former Confederate States were not allowed back in the Union until AFTER they ratified it. So the 13th Amendment to the Constitution is unConstitutional.

In reading Alexis de Tocqueville's books on American which he wrote during his visits, he notes that the slaves in the South were treated much better, with better food and better living conditions than the factory workers of the North.

I hope I don't sound like I'm endorsing slavery, I'm not. I think it would...
